intelligence. Where is the enemy coming
from?”
“They’ve
already penetrated the gate,” Branimir answered grimly. “A rag-tag mob of commoners,” he spat the
word, and Davir blinked with astonishment, “so they’ll probably wander about
lost until they find their goal. Amass
your men, Lieutenant, and make a tight perimeter around Their Majesties. We have no way of telling beforehand which
direction they will come from.”
